Hartwell Place has been recognized for its excellent employee engagement by Holleran – a community engagement research and consulting organization.
CMSS’ assisted living memory care community, Hartwell Place was named a “Choice Community” for its employee engagement scores, which performed at the top of the national benchmark.
This award from Holleran was given based on our completion of the 2023 Employee Engagement survey, which revealed that our team members feel satisfied, welcome, and supported by their supervisors and colleagues. A proprietary algorithm, developed by Holleran’s highly trained statisticians, researchers, and analysts, determines Choice Community Award recipients.

Holleran has the most significant benchmark of its kind, measuring both resident and employee engagement in the senior living space. Currently, the benchmark comprises more than 161,000 resident and employee surveys, from nearly 600 organizations across 35 states, DC and Canada, all completed within the last three years.
