Chicago Methodist Senior Services (CMSS) provides a continuum of services and residences to support the needs of older adults at every step of life.
One thing unites everything we do: a commitment to helping each person we serve to live and feel as well as possible.
We offer older adults a full range of community services and residential options provided by expert team members who take an innovative, person-centered approach to care.
CMSS offers residential memory care at two of our Chicago-based communities. Our Alzheimer’s and dementia-focused memory care residences offer specialized programming exclusively designed for people with memory loss and are managed by highly trained caregivers.
Our long-term skilled nursing program is ideal for older adults in need of personalized, around-the-clock care. Our caring team assists residents with daily living and provides extensive and engaging programming that feels like home.
At Wesley Place, CMSS’ expert nursing and therapy teams provide 24-hour friendly support to help you or your loved one recover from a recent hospital stay, an illness, or other medical condition.
Senior Connections is a community-based volunteer-based program that connects trained volunteers with older adults living independently. This engagement in community and intergenerational relationships aims to promote the wellness-enhanced quality of life of both volunteers and program members.
Our caregivers help support clients manage everyday activities, while offering respite for families. SASI provides hourly, overnight, or live-in home care to ease the challenges of illness or injuries or to just be proactive and preventative.
West Suburban is a drop-in center that provides access to socialization, free daily lunches, exercise programs, and educational opportunities. LGBT+ Programming includes a free weekly lunch/discussion group (in-person and virtual), a craft group and movie nights.
CMSS provides affordable independent housing to older adults. Located in the desirable Andersonville neighborhood on Chicago’s near North Side, these communities provide seniors living independently with apartments at below-market rates.
