Pioneers then and now

in improving seniors’ lives

Located in the heart of Andersonville, Chicago Methodist Senior Services offers memory care, short-term rehabilitation, long-term skilled nursing, supportive living, low-income housing, and community services for older adults. We provide home care in partnership with Services for Adults Staying in Their Homes (SASI) and host White Crane, a leading adult day-wellness provider, on our campus.

An accredited, nonprofit organization, our mission is to support, improve, and enhance the quality of life for older adults of all faiths and backgrounds by empowering them to live with dignity and respect.

We’re known as pioneers in person-centered senior care and services, and we continue to innovate to make their lives better. Good days happen more often when you have opportunities to thrive. That’s why you’ll find our residents taking trips to museums, exploring the neighborhood, and staying fit with yoga sessions. From our high caregiver-to-resident ratio to our new cardiac rehabilitation program to music and memory therapy, new fitness classes, beautiful gardens and more, we strive to give  people the world-class care they deserve.

The nonprofit difference

Why should you choose a nonprofit?

As a nonprofit organization, we serve our mission above all else. Improving the lives of people in our community and providing an environment that makes our staff love coming to work: these are our reasons for being, not shareholders or the bottom line.

Services for older adults sometimes cost more than what people can afford. We offer as many moderately priced programs, residences, and health care services as possible.

Accreditation: a higher standard of care

All of the programs that Chicago Methodist Senior Services offers are accredited by the Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). This means you can feel confident that you or your loved one are getting the very best quality of care available.

To earn and maintain our accreditation, we consistently pass CARF’s extensive review of our services by meeting their rigorous guidelines for quality and client satisfaction. To learn more about the high standards we follow, please visit www.carf.org.

What accreditation means for you
