Join us for Still Rockin’: A Night of Music to Support Programming and Resources for Older Adults

Each year, friends of Chicago Methodist Senior Services come together to support our commitment to improving quality of life for older adults. This year marks 121 years of CMSS and another successful year of positive impact in our community.

Please join us for our Spring Benefit Brunch on Saturday, April 27th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. This year, proceeds from the event will support our new therapeutic music program, “Sounds of Healing.” On top of brunch at the Saddle & Cycle Club, the day will include a performance with  the fellows of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago and a silent auction.

About “Sounds of Healing”

CMSS is excited to announce our groundbreaking music and medicine program, “Sounds of Healing.” Through partnerships with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, Music Institute of Chicago, Old Town School of Folk Music and other incredible institutions, we’re incorporating therapeutic music into the overall care plans of CMSS residents.

Research has shown the positive relationship music has with the brain and body. The “Sounds of Healing” program will use music to promote healing, manage stress, alleviate pain and encourage engagement among residents.

We hope to see you at our 2019 Spring Benefit Brunch, where your support will help build a strong foundation for “Sounds of Healing.”

Spring Fundraiser

This program is supported by our Spring Benefit Brunch which will be held April 27, 2019 at the Saddle & Cycle Club.
