Yolanda Deen first heard about CMSS decades ago when she sought home care for her mother post-surgery. A doctor at Northwestern recommended SASI. Yolanda was thrilled with the SASI Care Partner’s support of her mother.
In 2024, Yolanda was acting as a Power of Attorney for her close friend, Alan who had been diagnosed with dementia. Yolanda’s search for a caring and attentive memory care community for Alan ended when she found Hartwell Place.
Yolanda was thrilled to see the difference of care at Hartwell Place. She saw firsthand that the team cared about getting to know Alan, taking the time to personalize their approach to support him. The care team was responsive and went above and beyond. Alan passed in April 2025. The Hartwell Place team was honored to provide care to him.
Earlier this year, Yolanda underwent knee surgery. She scheduled a team of SASI Care Partners to assist her at home, 24-hours a day for eight days post-surgery. She was thrilled with the kind and caring team and enjoyed getting to know the Care Partners. Yolanda says, “More people need to know about SASI and Hartwell Place, they provide so much beyond basic care. The team really focuses on getting to know you as a person and learn how they can be there for you. The care is remarkable.”
