Chicago Methodist Senior Service had the honor of being one of two recipients of the ‘2022 Honoring Excellence Community Impact Award’ by the LeadingAge Illinois association.
This award aims to highlight organizations and their programs that are dedicated to expanding the world of possibilities for aging adults. CMSS is honored and excited to receive this award for our Senior Connections program, as it highlights the thriving community of trained volunteers we have created. Our volunteers have built friendships with the older adults through weekly visits and friendly calls.
At Chicago Methodist Senior Services, we pride ourselves on creating a community that welcomes and embraces residents, volunteers, and staff. We host numerous opportunities for learning, connection, and wellness every month, with the goal of a thriving community of older adults in mind.
