Guardianship 101 – Virtual Webinar

You most likely have heard the term guardianship, but do you know under what circumstances one would apply for guardianship? Do you understand the role and responsibilities of a guardian? Do you know the process for becoming a guardian? These are just some questions that presenter Lauren Kaplan, Elder Law Attorney, will discuss in this critical and informative webinar. 

Lauren Kaplan received a Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law. Lauren is an attorney at The Law Office of Kate Curler LLC specializing in Elder Law and Estate Planning. Prior to joining Kate Curler, Lauren worked for several years representing individuals and groups of people who have been injured by the negligence of others. Through this work, Lauren saw firsthand the struggles that seniors face in navigating the legal system. As an elder law and estate planning attorney, Lauren’s goal is to advocate and be a voice for seniors to ensure they are free from harm and able to easily access the programs and services they need.
