Hartwell Place is an intimate assisted living community with engaging programming exclusively for people with memory loss. With only 28 apartments and a high caregiver-to-resident ratio, everyone receives personalized care from our specially trained memory-loss caregivers.
Programs and social interaction
Hartwell Place is like a lively household with a very large family. Nestled in a residential neighborhood, this historic building and its residents are very much a part of the surrounding community.
Family members frequently drop by for breakfast or dinner. And with an ongoing choice of programs and social activities, residents can stay engaged and free from anxiety. Because our caregivers are trained to lead these programs, they create close bonds with residents. They take daily walks together in the neighborhood, shop at the farmer’s market and visit the much-beloved Art Institute of Chicago.
