Chicago Symphony Orchestra – Bach Marathon Performance

CMSS is proud to host the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, the professional training orchestra of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, for the fourth annual Bach Marathon – a day-long celebration of music during which small ensembles from the orchestra perform J.S. Bach’s Brandenburg Concertos in public spaces throughout the city. The six ensemble pieces are among Bach’s most enduring musical legacies; considered the best orchestral works of the Baroque period. At Wesley Place, they will be performing Bach’s 3rd & 6th Brandenburg Concertos.
