It’s a good day

when we can help improve lives in our community

One of the ways we try to improve lives in the community is by providing two low-income housing options designed for older adults. The residences at Winwood Apartments and Glenwood Apartments are located in the heart of Andersonville, close to public transportation and just steps away from our Wesley Place campus. These two communities provide an option for older adults that are still living independently to live in one of the most active and thriving neighborhoods in Chicago at below-market rates.

Winwood Apartments

Winwood Apartments is a 31-apartment HUD subsidized senior housing building at the corner of Glenwood Avenue and and Winona Street that provides secure residences supported by modern amenities. Residents must qualify as “very low income” in accordance with HUD guidelines, with rent calculated to be approximately 30% of the resident’s monthly income.

Glenwood Apartments

Glenwood Apartments is a 13-apartment vintage, brick building at the corner of Glenwood and Winnemac Avenues. Residents must qualify as “very low income” in accordance with HUD guidelines, with rent calculated to be approximately 40% of the resident’s monthly income, subject to minimums and maximums.
