Neuropsychological testing can help health care providers, families, and individuals understand changes in thinking skills such as memory and attention, and this type of evaluation helps assist with diagnosis and treatment planning. This presentation will discuss different areas of cognitive functioning (e.g., memory, attention, language), how they are assessed with neuropsychological testing, the benefits of measuring cognitive health, what are the next steps post evaluation, and whether one should wait until neurological symptoms present before scheduling an evaluation.

Presenter: Dr. Sherrie All, PhD

Trained as a neuropsychologist, Dr. Sherrie All, PhD founded Cognitive Wellness Centers in 2012 to provide the “what’s next” to people following a diagnosis of memory loss or other changes in other thinking skills such as attention or executive function. Dr. All was and is passionate about filling a much-needed treatment gap for people as they work to improve their lives in the face of difficult circumstances. As Dr. All’s success in treating these unique patients and families has grown, so has her team.
