The Andersonville neighborhood and Chamber of Commerce is hosting its Annual Arts Week and Fest September 19-22, 2019. CMSS residents and staff will be taking part in some of the festivities, and you’re encouraged to attend as well.

Below is a summary of the highlights for the 4-day event:

 

Self-Guide Art Walk – September 19-22, 2019
Open Thursday through Sunday, participating businesses have turned their shops into pop-up art galleries for an Andersonville-wide Self-Guided Art Walk! Use the map to reference exact locations and stop by during business hours to view displayed work! Hours vary by business.

 

Night of 100 Parties – September 19, 2019
Andersonville stays up late on the Friday night of Arts Week! Join our area businesses for a night of celebration, with artist receptions and treats at over 50 locations! The Andersonville Chamber of Commerce will also pop-up an Arts Week Headquarters tent outdoors at Farragut and Clark.

 

CMSS – Wesley Place Bistro – September 20, 2019 – 4:00pm – 8:00pm
Join us at Wesley Place Bistro for a celebration of the arts, including three new exhibits featuring artwork by CMSS Community Members. We will be serving wine and appetizers, and featuring live music.

Andersonville Arts Fest – September 21 – 22, 2019
New to Arts Week this year is the Andersonville Arts Fest hosted by the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce and produced by Amdur Productions on Saturday, September 21 and Sunday, September 22. The event spans Clark Street from Winona to Argyle and features more than 100 juried artists showcasing and selling a variety of their original work. Admission to the festival is a $5 suggested donation, with proceeds benefiting the work of the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce. A portion of the gate donations will also benefit local non-profit organizations, including Friends of Peirce and Friends of Chappell.
