It’s a good day

at Chicago Methodist Senior Services

Located in the heart of Andersonville, Chicago Methodist Senior Services offers memory care, short-term rehabilitation, long-term skilled nursing, supportive living, low-income housing, and community services such as fitness and technology classes. We’re also able to provide home care through our partnership with Services for Adults Staying in Their Homes (SASI), and we have the benefit of having White Crane, leading providers of adult day wellness programming, right on our campus.

An accredited, nonprofit organization, our mission is to support, improve, and enhance the quality of life for older adults by empowering them to live with dignity and respect. From our new fitness classes and music and memory therapy to updates to our residences, we’ve continued to modernize and innovate since our founding – which dates back over a century.

Our commitment to helping older adults of all faiths and backgrounds to live and feel as well as possible is apparent everywhere you look. It’s in the way our short-term rehabilitation team cheers you on to feel better, our home cooked meals and the beautiful gardens on our campus.

We believe good days happen more often when you have opportunities to thrive. That’s why you’ll find our residents taking trips to museums, exploring the neighborhood, and staying fit with yoga sessions

The nonprofit difference

Why should you choose a nonprofit?

As a nonprofit our mission is our focus, and we’re driven by an unconditional commitment to those we serve above all else.

We know that services for older adults sometimes come with a price tag not everyone can afford. We offer as many programs, residences and health care services at as moderate a price as possible.

Improving the lives of those in and around our community. Providing an environment that makes our people love coming to work. These are our reasons for being, and we’re not held back by shareholders who often prioritize the bottom line.

From HeartBeats, our new cardiac rehabilitation program, to our high caregiver-to-resident ratio and the art programs we do with the Art Institute of Chicago, we’ve never stopped investing in our services, buildings, and staff – and that’s a difference we’re proud of.
