White Crane Wellness Center

White Crane Wellness Center is an independent, nonprofit organization founded by seniors to provide direct services to older adults seeking ways to improve their health. This nationally recognized, award-winning innovative adult day center offers music programs, various forms of appropriately adapted exercise, discussion groups, gentle Tai Chi, massage therapy and more.

All services, programs and activities provided for the participants are designed to promote health, wellness and positive attitudes about aging. They encourage seniors to engage in life and interact with others.

Transportation is available via a wheelchair-accessible van. Lunch and snacks are provided, with accommodations for special diets. A variety of health services are also offered at White Crane, including nursing, dentistry, ophthalmology, optometry, podiatry, audiology and specialized nutrition services.

White Crane's Adult Day Wellness Program, housed in Covenant Home of Chicago, is a nurturing environment designed to care for older adults and provide new opportunities for personal growth and well-being. Socialization is encouraged through group interactions, structured programs and physical activity.

The Adult Day Wellness Program offers caregivers a "necessary break" from providing companionship and supervision. This break enables caregivers to achieve renewed energy and the opportunity to be supported by White Crane's array of family-oriented services. White Crane's therapeutic programs and activities are thoughtfully planned and facilitated by licensed, trained, and caring staff members. Our holistic approach also includes specialized memory care programming. Award winning and nationally recognized, White Crane Wellness Center is an innovative leader in senior wellness. White Crane's Adult Day Wellness Program is state certified and is a member of the Illinois Adult Day Service Association.
