Volunteers Knit Lap Blankets for Residents at Wesley Place
Carol Glennon, a member of St. Gertrude's and an avid knitter,
has organized her knitting group to knit lap blankets for seniors
at Wesley Place as their Lenten project this year. Carol was
delighted to learn that some residents at Wesley Place are also
avid knitters and want to participate in the project. Last year,
Carol's group knitted Afghans for Afghans, which was a "blazing
Lenten success."
