Volunteers Knit Lap Blankets for Residents at The Methodist Home
Carol Glennon, a member of St. Gertrude's and an avid knitter,
has organized her knitting group to knit lap blankets for seniors
at The Methodist Home as their Lenten project this year. Carol was
delighted to learn that some residents at The Methodist Home are
also avid knitters and want to participate in the project. Last
year, Carol's group knitted Afghans for Afghans, which was a
"blazing Lenten success."
