Introducing: Wesley Place!

Big changes are happening at The Methodist Home, our specialized memory support and rehab center, which has served older adults and their families for over a century. We are making major interior and exterior building renovations, while developing new, cutting edge programming to meet the needs we see in our community. Along with these upgrades come alliances with premier medical institutions and a focus on continuity of care.

With these enhancements comes our new name: Wesley Place

Through this name change we are celebrating a new direction for our services while recognizing our legacy and history on the corner of Foster and Glenwood Avenues. The name "Wesley" honors  John Wesley, a prominent historical figure, who is credited with founding the Methodist movement. Coincidentally, The Methodist Episcopal Old People's Home from our humble 1898 beginnings was located on Wesley Street in Evanston. Finally, Wesley Wieting, a long time board member, life trustee, and benefactor is being recognized through this renaming.

With the New Year and our new name come great promises for the future. We thank you for your continued partnership and look forward to serving you and your loved ones in the days and years to come, with the trust and care on which you have come to rely.
