Covenant Home of Chicago has served the needs of seniors in its
northern Chicago neighborhood since 1886. Rebuilt in 1997, our
elegant and modernized five-story building -- located across from
the campus of Swedish Covenant Hospital -- offers gracious studio,
one- and two-bedroom assisted living apartments, and an abundant
array of amenities, services and programs. With a comprehensive
focus on wellness of body, mind and spirit, we promote resident
self-direction and participation in decisions that emphasize
independence and dignity in a residential living setting.

On the four residential floors, refreshingly spacious, private
apartments are complete with kitchenette, refrigerator/freezer and
microwave.
Down the hall, a comfortable lounge expands residents' living
space and offers a convenient place to hold Bible study, watch the
Cubs, or visit with family. Although our dining plan makes cooking
optional, the complete kitchen means there's always the opportunity
to share favorite recipes.

Living within your Means
The customized assistance and supportive environment at Covenant
Home provide the foundation for your independence. A simple
service, like helping you into a sweater, can free you to enjoy a
fulfilling day.
The services you need are unique to you, so we customize
services for each individual. We structure our fees the same way.
You only pay for the services you need. Our monthly fee includes
residence in a spacious apartment; a dining program; weekly
housekeeping; even linen and towel service. Regularly scheduled
transportation is also included, along with utilities, cable TV,
and an emergency response system and 24-hour security.
For residents who receive Medicaid benefits through the State of
Illinois, their apartment and services (excluding Ancillary
Services/Charges) are covered under the Supportive Living
Program. Residents receiving Medicaid Benefits must turn over
their monthly income to the Covenant Home of Chicago for
room and board, meals and services, minus $90 to keep for
personal allowances.

comprehensive services of the CMSS network are just a phone call
away.
